TICKLE FINGERS (Davisson-J 2017)

TICKLE FINGERS is a pretty 7" lilac cascade unusual form with a unique watermark that is a blend of melon and orchid. I'm beginning to see watermarks with more than one color in my seedlings and believe this is a grand, new direction to take in a hybridizing program....multicolored watermarks!!! TICKLE FINGERS has a nice well-balanced plant under it, as well, with 32 inch scapes, 4 and 5 way branching, 21 to 24 buds. Hardy, dormant plant habit gives it flawless foliage and it's EASILY fertile both ways....even when it's hot. The mid to late season bloomer is from a cross of CURT'S GIFT x an unregistered seedling: (SWALLOWTAIL KITE X LIGHTHOUSE NORTH) x WHITE EYES PINK DRAGON. The pollen parent is a tall lilac with a melon watermark so TICKLE FINGERS has great hybridizing potential for unusually colored watermarks.
